On 26 October 2016, the plenary session of the BBR took place at the office of Ackermans & van Haaren in Antwerp. 22 members and working group members were present to discuss the position papers on Infrastructure, Digital Single Market and Energy. Special guest was Belgian Secretary of State, Mr Philippe De Backer, who addressed the group during the cocktail and attended dinner.
In response to a press release by the Belgian and Dutch grid operators, BBR members reaffirmed their continued commitment and support for the reinforcement of electricity transport between Belgium and Netherlands. The BBR’s full statement on energy can be read here.
